I've seen numerous posts in regards to this online with no great solutions. NET 3.0, 3.0SP1 or 3.5 all fail immediately after the 'download complete' portion. No matter what I do, and what I try to clean up, trying to install.

The setup.exe offers you the option to build a transform.but it doesnt seem to work with the msi either! Tried running this install as the system account, regular user account and domain user accounts.same result for all. I've even resorted to trying to hack my way around the MSI to force it to run without much luck. Everytime we launch it with the switch, it gets part of the way through the install and then bombs out (watching the progress on the task manager) with an error 1603. ini to install using the /unattendfile switch.
